6T9, a proudly South African Dj and producer based in East Rand, Jo'burg.
Now 21, 6T9 started off as a bedroom DJ 8 years ago(age 14), purchasing his first vinyl. Djing started off as a hobby but as the interest and tallent grew he moved into the Dj scene few years later. Starting off playing private functions than later on playing at venues such as Cacoon, crazy 88, Roxys', Chicago, Lizards lounge, FTV, News café's and along side Yfm djs for the taste of Jo'burg.
6T9's Djing career took a back seat apon joining University. Still with the passion for music 6T9 moved into music production and has grown in leaps and bounds. 6T9 Secured his first record label signing recently with Baboon tunes records. 6T9's productions have gotten great support so far from the likes of (Kyle Watson, Roby Howler, Jeff Doubleu, Guido Van Santen (TheFidgetive) Schenk, Peter Booth, Cracker Jack, Master Simz, The Dirty Chef, Killafornia, Carbon Parlor , Riot squad) and amongst all recently had one of his tracks featured on Erica Elles show on 5fm.
Proving to be the next big thing, 6T9 is definitely one to look out for from now on.
